Kevin Hoverd, the company's director and designer, has spent over 30 years in the automotive industry and knows the importance of getting a motor vehicle's engine to breathe efficiently to achieve maximum performance and fuel economy. He realised that most people prefer their vehicles to retain that factory look and set about designing quality aftermarket cold air induction systems that look every part like an original engine component. The Big Mouth® range was born and the Growler® and OTR Growler® ranges soon followed. The company's range of cold air inductions are manufactured in Australia to the highest standard using industrial quality plastics that tolerate the high heat generated within the engine bay and still have an original factory look. The Big Mouth® range also includes throttle bodies and airflow meters manufactured from CNC billet aluminium to combine awesome performance results with that 'wow factor' appearance. SS Inductions Pty Ltd also supply to a number of leading automotive designers and retailers for both Australian and export markets and in 2008 became the official induction supplier to the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series as well as sponsoring the "SS Inductions Hard Charger Award" in every round. To complement our range of inductions, we import high quality rewashable Kingdragon® filters from Italy and other specially designed filters from various overseas manufacturers. These filters are packaged under our Big Mouth® brand so look out for them at your retail outlet or ask for them by name. All Big Mouth® filters have a superior flow rate when compared to other well known brands. They are also rewashable and have a 10 year lifespan. All SS Inductions' products carry a 12 month replacement guarantee for quality and workmanship and generally have no adverse effect on insurance or manufacturers warranty.
